As Apto expands across Europe, our ability to deliver fast, at scale and with confidence depends on one thing above all: our people.
In our latest video, the team share what it’s taken to build Apto’s culture from the ground up — and how that’s helped us attract, support and empower talent at every level.
Culture first
From day one, we’ve been clear about the kind of company we want to be. Transparent in how we work, collaborative in how we operate, and deliberate in how we grow.
“We’ve stayed completely true to the culture all the way through this year,” says Russell Poole, Apto CEO. “What a really good culture allows you to do isn’t just operate brilliantly within the company — it also allows you to attract the best talent.”
That focus has guided every hire — from experienced delivery leads to our first graduate cohort.
A team that reflects our values
“We’ve made a number of strong hires: like-minded, progressive, experienced professionals,” says Mark Dolan, Chief Strategy and Acquisitions Officer. “There’s an infectious sense of excitement that we’re really at the coalface of creating something special.”
That momentum is clear across the team — and especially in our two graduates, Nicole and Stephen, who joined through Apto’s new Graduate Programme and are already making their mark.
“Hiring the two graduates is brilliant,” adds David West, Head of Delivery. “They’ve come in straight away, adding value, fresh ideas and new perspectives.”
From foundations to future growth
A lot of what we’ve done over the past 18 months has been about setting the foundations. Now, as the pace picks up and new projects come online, that early investment in culture and capability is paying off.
